NOTD: DL's Razzle dazzle

Simple nails for today. No nail art no nothing, just a glitter polish layered over a an underwear. 
This is Deborah Lippman's Razzle dazzle, gorgeous raspberry glitters in a sheer dark base over Misa's I will survive which is just a simple black.

I haven't worn this polish for ages, about a year or so. I still remember how excited I was when I received this in my December UK Glossybox and how much I loved it when I wore it.




Products I used:
  • Two coats of Misa's I will survive as base
  • One coat of Deborah Lippman's Razzle dazzle
I decided to layer Razzle dazzle over a base this time because it's a little sheer on it's own and it'll take about 3 coats to cover up everything. The biggest problem with this polish is the staining. Yes, it's beautiful but it stains like a *Beeeeep*. With the underwear though, I hardly experienced any staining this time.

 My camera can never capture the beauty of this one. The raspberry glitters are much more sparkly but in normal daylight it doesn't shine like how it does under artificial light. Since this bottle is mini sized, the hand posing was a little bit tricky too.

    This is a fav DL of mine - love putting it over less deep shades as well like a great fuchsia or a glass fleck filled raspberry (OPI Alli's Break or China Glaze Ahoy come to mind)

      Ooh sounds like nice combinations. I have China glaze's Ahoy so one day I might give that a try just to see how it turns out :)
