100th post and first post of 2014!

Happy new year my lovely nailistas! Hope everyone had a merry Christmas and an awesome New year! This is my 100th post and the first for 2014. Can't believe I've been blogging for almost two years but I've only blogged 100 times so I'm making it my goal to contribute more to this blog. Okay, this post is posted half an hour later than New years day over here which should have been when this post is published. Yeah, it's not a good start but it'll get better :D
Here's what I wore for New years. I wanted to make things a little more jazzy but it didn't turn out right so I left it like so.
The base is Misa's I will survive which is your standard black. I just couldn't have the first manicure of the year without some glitter so the nail on the middle and ring finger was topped with two layers of Barry M's Gold glitter and the numbers 2014 was written using Barry M's white nail art pen.
The middle finger was originally meant to be a glitter explosion nail design. I had it all planned out in my head but I couldn't get it to look right so in the end I covered everything with the gold glitter. That is why the glitter looks a little less even than the ring.
