I'm going to say this before anything else, I LOVE THIS MANICURE! So do expect to see more designs using the same technique in future because it looks absolutely fun.
My Barry M collection is mainly dominated by the Gelly Hi shine collections, though I haven't been picking up more of the recent ones I find the colours that I already own are sufficient.
This manicure is filled with three colours:
Plum - Purple, Guava - Teal and Dragon fruit - Pink
Using a sponge I painted the polishes in different parts and sponged my nails as it was until every part of the nail looked liked it had been covered. But then there's always the stamping to cover for any empty spots if there were some. The butterflies were then stamped on with a white polish and this design belonged to the BM205 plate from Bundle Monster
The last step would of course be the top coat. This is what smooths everything out and makes everything look better.
Next, I think I can let the pictures do the talking.
What do you think? What three colour combinations would you choose for this sort of manicure?

Say yay to pink! Say yahoo to glitter! Say woop woop to all of them combined! ^^
Ever since the pink cloud mani I became quite fond of the neon on pastel pink pairing so I pulled the two colours out again. The design this time was much simple compared to the last time these polishes had been used.
It was merely just using two coats of Color Club's Endless as the base and painting a stripe of Color Club's Flamingo down the middle of the nail on the middle and ring finger.
The glitter is Barry M's Gold majesty from their royal textured glitter collection. I even did a swatch post on the whole set which you can also check out over HERE.
Though it wasn't as exciting as when I first wore this colour combination I think it turned out alright. Your thoughts?

My skin tone in these photos is quite annoying to look at. This is pretty much the reason why I have to rely on photo editing softwares to fix 99% of my photos. I couldn't brighten the photos any more before we lose the real colour of the polish as it wasn't accurate to start off with.
This is Nails Inc's Sloane Square which is a coral neon polish from their nail polish diary collection set.
Formula wise it is sheer and even after thin coats you can still sort of see that nail line peaking back at you. The coats went on thin so four actually felt like two here.
I didn't expect this one to be a neon but it was still pretty. I think I'm more than ready to accept all the Spring and Summer shade to come around again this year.

Even though I might have more than one of each colour I always feel like I'm stuck for choice! So I'm trying hard to make use of all the polishes currently sitting in my drawer to convince myself that what I have is enough and I really don't need any more.
Here's two polishes which were pretty much purchased at the beginning of this whole nail polish thing and I'm happy that they're both still in good condition. Not dried out nor goopy and still looks good to wear.
Here is China Glaze's Bogie which is a shimmery eggplant purple. I had blogged about this one before when I first made my own lightbox. You could check it out HERE but those days were when my nails were close to nubs but not quite. I have since realised that I prefer my nails with a little bit of length.
The silver is China Glaze's Icicle which I use quite often because the shimmer is absolutely amazing. The colour just doesn't disappoint even if it's pretty standard.
Do you remember some of the first polishes in your collection or that you ever bought? What was it? Do you still have it?

My last vintage rose design I done a while back was quite a memorable manicure for me so recreating it a second time is a must except in different colours. The whole light and dark colour contrast seemed like it would work here but as I was painting/dabbing the polishes on everything just mixed a became a little bit of a blur. With the little green leaves you might just be able to figure out these are purple roses that are lacking in a bit of detail but still quite pretty if I may say so :)
The base is two coats of Barry M's matt white with Essie's Lilacism as the pastel lilac creme and China Glaze's Spontaneous being the darker purple. The leaves are painted with Essie's Going incognito.
I've been pretty fond of the Color club Million dollar listing gold shimmery top coat lately. It even sits on my desk top for close reach during a manicure session. It's showing up more subtle under the camera lens as I see less shimmer here than in person. I think zooming in a little gives you a better look at its pretty shimmers.
I keep wanting to recreate this in different shades, which colour should I do it in next? Blue? Green? ^^

Both these polishes here today are from the Breast Cancer awareness 2014 collection by Essie. Though October is over and won't be coming round for a while the awareness still lives on and we can still donate and support whenever! :)
Wear pink any day any week!
All the pinks from the collection are pretty standard but they look gorgeous and I haven't even started on the glitter yet. It has officially become one of my favourites and totally reminds me of snowflakes and topping.
This is Essie's Pinking about you on Pink happy.
I realised I did add a little too many photos of very similar poses but when the glitter and base looks that good together you're just allowed.
What's your favourite pink polish and glitter of all time?

Hope everyone had a Happy New year! May 2015 be filled with nothing but good things!
If I was to make a New years resolution I think it'll definitely be on my time keeping on everything. Given that I had posted this on my Instagram days ago this should've been up on the same day.
Here I present you my top 10 favourites of 2014 in no particular order!
The time I realised that metallics and pastels could match so well like that.
Because mix and match nails are always fun to do and look at.
The glitter polishes from Models Own are absolutely gorgeous and great toppers for a manicure.
Keeping the whole look soft and subtle. I couldn't keep this peachy elegance out of my top 10's list.
Some freehand vintage roses is a classic design. Looked better in person but still very proud of the paint job on the middle finger nail.
This eggplant purple jelly and gold tip just screams beautiful.
Who can defy duochromes and nail stamping? I'm sorry but I can't!
Isn't it exciting when you come out with good unexpected results.
Very fit for spring but still great all year around.
Girly and wild. That's the way I like it!
Which one out of the ten did you like the most? What was your favourite manicure that you did for 2014?
