Haul: Nail treatments

I made another order on Transdesign since I loved the product range they offered on their site. In the past few weeks I’ve been going cheap on my top and base coat whenever I apply them because I’m close to finishing both so I finally got to purchasing more. I added a cuticle oil as well since I’m trying to pick up the habit of moisturising my cuticles and hands more often than usual. I wanted to try out different products to compare and see which was best for me.

What I purchased:
CND Solar oil
INM out the door top coat
Poshe base coat

I got the 7.3ml bottle of Solar oil because it was the cheapest and I didn’t want to spend too much on it. I never know when I’m going to abandon this product just like I did with my poor Burt bees lemon butter cuticle cream. That one's not being used as much as I thought it would so it’s sitting in my container of manicure tools.

Almost everyone has been raving about Seche vite’s fast dry top coat but I refuse to spend money on it until I can get over the smell and hazard warning people keep talking about. I’ve looked at a few top coats but ended with INM’s out the door because I’ve read good reviews about this one. The packaging claims to be America’s #1 fast drying top coat so hopefully it lives up to this statement.

I don’t know if I was dizzy when I clicked on the Poshe base coat because I didn’t even remember that I purchased it until it arrived. Next time I might try their top coat, apparently that one is good too but I don’t have much high hopes that the base will perform well. I guess the watery formula doesn’t look promising to me.

Other than these I also purchased my first Orly collection. Had to make use of the flat rate box and $23 shipping I was prepared to pay so stay tuned for a post on that.

What’s your favourite top, base coat and cuticle oil?

  2. I've heard about the Poshe base coat being good. Please review it soon!

And the Out the Door topcoat is pretty good. I've tried Seche Vite, and I think the Out the Door one is worth the money more. Both tend to dry out before using the entire bottle, but you'll be able to use more of the Out the Door one.
