Haul: Misa’s HOT SUMMER collection

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Misa isn’t a popular brand as much as others say China glaze or even Color club but I’ve seen a few in a nail salon my friend used to work in. I even own two shades myself but they’re nothing special. One’s a standard black crème which I have yet to use and another is a frosty purple shade which I hardly use. It’s real sheer and doesn’t even look good layered over another. Rookie purchase!

L-R: Pink cadillac, Good to be green, Bubblepop
L-R: Skinny dipping, So HOT in sunglasses, Double dutch

I wanted to try some more from this brand, I really like their square bottle because it fits nicely next to each other. Here’s the six that came in this collection:

Pink Cadillac – Pink with gold shimmer
It's good to steer away from the pink pastel cremes I have a lot of and branch out to other pinks. I'm not quite sure how I'll feel about this one though.

Good to be green – Green crème
Have no idea what kind of green to describe it as. I would say grass green but if I compared it to grass it’d look far from similar.

Bubblepop – Pink with shimmers
This one’s a little different from pink Cadillac but I don’t really know how to describe the difference. Let’s just keep it as how I described it shall we. Haha

Skinny dipping – Turquoise blue shimmer
The picture makes it look a little too blue but it’s the gorgeous one out of the bunch.

So HOT in sunglasses – Bright red and orange crème

Double dutch – Light purple/lavender crème
This one looks like a standard lavender to me except a little more purple than the other ones I have.

There are a few pinks in this collection but it’s accompanied by a few other colours that evens it out for me.
Here’s the last of my hauls for now, I’ve given myself almost half a plastic drawer full of nail lacquers to try out but a girl just can’t have enough nail polishes. The number of polishes I've accumulated have already hit the hundreds. I’m close to filling up my second drawer and after that I literally won’t have anywhere else to store anymore so I need to start rearranging some stuff.

Have you heard of this brand before? Do you own any Misa polishes?

  1. I've never tried Misa, but I've heard great things about them. All these colors look really pretty!
